Sheriff Newman

This is the mission statement of the Huerfano County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Newman has defended the rights of the people in Huerfano County. In April of 2014, a problem with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Nevada has been brewing. Here, in Huerfano County, we also have Cattle Ranchers. It is very important that everyone look at this FAX of April 11, 2014 that was sent to Sheriff Newman: CLICK HERE FOR FAX This has to do with Sheriff DeMeo in NEVADA who successfully stood up to the “feds” and saved a Cattle Rancher. Sheriff Newman’s position regarding gun rights was shown on the CONSTITUTIONAL SHERIFF’S AND PEACE OFFICERS website. The Sheriff gained this position because, in numerous interviews with local newspapers he asserted that he would uphold the gun rights of Huerfano County Citizens. He also took part in a lawsuit against the Colorado State Legislature because they passed laws that would infringe upon the rights of the citizens of Colorado. Also, on Feb. 5, 2013, Sheriff Newman spoke with me on the telephone, and said that he is in agreement with the Colorado Sheriffs (CSOC) statement. Sheriff Newman has gone after the Walsenburg Police Department for rights violations. It has taken a long time to build up this Sheriff’s Department to what it is today, and develop the trust of the citizens. Sheriff Newman played a big part in building it. He has stated that he is a firm believer in our right to keep and bear arms. He is not afraid to take on anyone he feels is violating anyone’s rights or freedoms. He was in a case against the local district attorney’s office for not doing their job. Sheriff Newman knows what he can do as sheriff. He knows his powers, and responsibilities.

Just after the NDAA was signed by Obama, I saw Sheriff Newman at the bank and mentioned the NDAA. He didn’t know anything about the NDAA. El Paso County officials knew of it. What the Huerfano County Sheriff does not know can be harmful to the people. I urge you to ask Sheriff Newman if he’s aware of the facts presented in the above faxes, because they are a matter of life or death for the people of our county, and a matter of freedom or slavery.
